Good value for Machine Learning

I was looking for some affordable Machine Learning Courses and came across INE. I ended up getting a bundle deal during a holiday sale. The content quality was really good for what I paid. I specifically liked the Python for Data Science modules. It felt like I got a lot of training for my money, which was important for me as a first-time buyer.

Easy to get started

I picked up the INE Fundamentals Subscription to try out some Networking Fundamentals stuff. It was super easy to sign up and just start learning. Everything worked right away and the videos were clear. Felt good getting back into it.

Good content, minor lab issues

I bought the Cyber Security Professional Training and found the content really solid, especially the Incident Response Training modules. The instructors are clearly knowledgeable. Delivery was instant since it's online access. My only minor gripe was that some of the Hands-on Virtual Labs had slight latency issues, which made them a bit frustrating at times, but overall it was a good value for the price. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about a lab not loading right.

Amazing BGP Mastery!

I just finished the BGP Mastery course and it was fantastic! The explanations were so clear and the examples made everything click. I've been struggling with BGP for ages, but now I feel so much more confident. I will definitely be getting more training here soon!

Still reliable training

I've used INE for years, usually for my CCNP Enterprise Training. This time I got the SD-WAN Training. Like always, the material is up-to-date and the instructors know their stuff. The virtual labs were as smooth as I remember from previous courses. Good to see they're consistent with quality.

Hey, thinking about grabbing the INE Premium sub for CCIE Enterprise. Is it really worth it over like, CBT Nuggets? Seen mixed reviews.

O Olivia T. 4 days ago
I used INE for my CCIE Security and it was pretty intense, much more in-depth than CBT. The labs are killer too. Definitely helped me pass.

Depends on your learning style. CBT is more bite-sized, INE goes super deep. If you want to really understand the 'why' behind things for CCIE, INE probably has the edge. Just be ready for a lot of content.

How's the refund policy for INE? What if I sign up and realize it's not for me after a week or two?

M Megan Thomas 2 weeks ago
They have one, but it's usually only for a short period, like within the first week if you haven't accessed too much content. Better check their site for the exact terms.

A Alex Gomez 2 weeks ago
Pretty sure there's a refund window, but you can always just do the free trial first to see if you like it. It's usually like 7 days of full access, gives you a good feel for the platform.

Does INE ever have sales on their annual subscriptions? Hoping to get a deal, Black Friday passed already.

H Hannah J. 6 days ago
Yeah, they do! Not just Black Friday. I got my renewal discount last year around the holidays, and they pop up for like 'New Year' or 'End of Fiscal Year' sometimes. Keep an eye out.

They seem to have sales fairly often. Not always huge but $100-200 off an annual premium isn't uncommon. Maybe check around Cisco Live time too, I think they do something then.

Are INE courses self-paced? Or do I have to follow a specific schedule or something?

N Nathan Roberts 2 weeks ago
Totally self-paced. You can go through them at your own speed, rewind, re-watch, whatever. That's one of the best parts.

L Lisa Flores 2 weeks ago
Yep, 100% self-paced. You set your own schedule. That's why I like it, can fit it around work.

How long does it typically take to get access after buying a subscription? Is it instant or do I have to wait?

G Grace T. 4 weeks ago
It was pretty much instant for me after payment went through. Got an email with login details right away.

J Jennifer 3 weeks ago
Instant access, yeah. As soon as your payment is confirmed, you're usually good to go. No waiting around.

Anyone have experience with their eJPT prep? Does it actually cover enough to pass the exam or do you need extra resources?

B Brittany Roberts 4 days ago
The eJPT prep on INE is solid, I passed with just their material and practice. The labs are really key for that one.
2
J Jeff L. 4 days ago
Yeah, the eJPT course is pretty comprehensive. They cover what you need. Just make sure to do all the labs multiple times if you're feeling shaky on anything.

Can I use the INE labs on an iPad? Or do I need a proper computer for them to work right?

S Susan Perez 2 weeks ago
I wouldn't recommend it. While you might be able to access the portal, the lab environments themselves are usually resource-intensive and much better on a desktop or laptop for actual work.
6
S Sam Garcia 2 weeks ago
Technically maybe through a browser, but for serious lab work, you'll want a keyboard, mouse, and a bigger screen. It's not really optimized for tablets, especially for the complex stuff.

Anyone know if I can still get a student discount even if I'm not enrolled full-time anymore, but still have my edu email?

O Olivia F. 3 weeks ago
I think as long as your .edu email is active and you can verify it, you should be good. That's how it worked for me a couple years back.

A Alex D. 2 weeks ago
You'd probably have to check their policy. Some places are strict about current enrollment, others just need the email. Doesn't hurt to try applying or asking support.
